BDG Win - Responsible Gaming

BDG Win responsible gaming: how to set deposit and time limits, recognise problem-gambling warning signs, self-exclude, and reach confidential 18+ support helplines.

Play within your limits

At BDG Win, responsible gaming means treating every session as entertainment, never as a source of income or a way to recover losses. Before you log in, fix a session budget in rupees you can genuinely afford to lose, and set a phone timer so the session ends on schedule. Once either limit is reached, close the app and step away.

Keep your gaming wallet separate from essential spending. If you fund your BDG Win account via PhonePe, GPay or BHIM UPI, set those apps to a dedicated bank account with a low balance so household money is never at risk. Avoid playing when you are stressed, sleep-deprived or under the influence of alcohol, impaired judgment leads to larger bets and faster losses.

Never chase a losing session by depositing more. Every game round on BDG Win produces an independent random result; no pattern, streak or "hot game" changes the odds. Accepting this fact is the foundation of safe play.

Warning signs of problem gambling

Problem gambling rarely appears overnight. Early warning signs include spending more money or time playing than you planned, feeling irritable when you try to cut back, and returning the next day specifically to win back losses, a behaviour known as chasing. Financial red flags include borrowing money from family, delaying EMIs or utility payments, or secretly using a secondary UPI handle to hide deposits.

Emotional signs are equally important: constant preoccupation with the next session, guilt or shame after losing, lying to a partner or employer about how much you play, and using gambling to escape anxiety or personal problems. If three or more of these descriptions sound familiar, treat that as a clear signal to use the limit or self-exclusion tools below and speak to a professional.

Deposit, loss and time limits

BDG Win provides three types of voluntary spending controls inside your account settings. A deposit limit caps how much you can add to your wallet in a chosen period, daily, weekly or monthly. For example, setting ₹500 per week means no UPI, PhonePe or card transaction will be accepted once that threshold is reached, regardless of your bank balance. A loss limit works differently: it monitors net losses and automatically suspends play for the rest of the period once you hit the ceiling you chose.

A session time limit displays an on-screen countdown and logs you out when the timer expires. Unlike simply watching a clock yourself, this control enforces the stop automatically, removing the temptation to play "just one more round." All three limits take effect immediately when you lower them, but a cooling-off period of 24 hours applies before any limit can be raised, giving you time to reconsider.

To configure limits: log in → tap your profile icon → select Responsible Gaming → choose the limit type and enter your preferred amount or duration → confirm with your registered OTP.

Self-exclusion and cool-off

If spending controls are not enough, BDG Win offers two stronger options. A cool-off period (1 to 30 days) temporarily locks your account, you cannot log in, deposit or place bets for the chosen duration. It is ideal when you feel you need a short break without a permanent commitment. A self-exclusion extends that block for 6 months, 1 year or indefinitely. During any exclusion your account is frozen, marketing messages stop, and any pending promotional bonuses are forfeited.

To self-exclude: go to Responsible Gaming in account settings, select Self-Exclusion, choose the duration and confirm via OTP. The block activates within one hour. If you choose indefinite exclusion and later wish to return, a mandatory 7-day reflection period applies before reinstatement is processed, this delay is intentional and cannot be waived.
